Books to Fill Your Kids Ministry Classrooms

Books are an incredible way to teach the Gospel story to kids, especially your littlest disciples. Books also give your volunteers language for tackling big questions, explaining a Bible story with child-friendly words, and use imagery to bring our favorites stories to life. Here are some of my favorite books to stock our classrooms bookshelves! You will see that I have divided up the books into two categories: Preschool & Elementary. .

Don’t forget that even in the books you place in your classrooms, you can be intentional about teaching the Gospel to the next generation. Books can be so impactful so why not create space for kids to read about stories about the characteristics of God, stories from the Bible, and stories to help us live more like Jesus.
