Kids Ministry Event
Debrief Guide

Planning kids ministry events are sometimes a year long endeavor! You get to the end of VBS, Family Nights, Trunk-or-Treats, Easter Eggstravaganzas or whatever you have created for your community and it is hard to remember everything that happened. You are just ready for a nap before Sunday morning!

The team at Kids Ministry Circle wanted to create a way for you to collect all the feedback necessary to grow and improve your events for the next year. Debriefing as a staff team is so important, but gathering feedback from your volunteers will give you a perspective you don’t have. Writing down wins and thinking through struggles will put you steps ahead in the future planning and keeping track of rock star volunteers will help you personally celebrate each one!

Don’t forget, writing down stories of how God worked in and through your kids and families are perfect to send along to senior leadership, parents, and will help you recruit volunteers in the future.

We couldn’t create a resource without giving you a fun way to celebrate your team. We created a celebration event checklist and cute tags for you to use as a thank you for your volunteers! We hope it is helpful and sets you up for success moving forward!
