2023 Volunteer Gift Guides!

Here we are! Another year, another opportunity to show our volunteers how much we love them! T-shirts and mugs are typical go-to gift ideas, but most volunteers have enough t-shirts and mugs to last a lifetime! Whether you have 10 volunteers or 100 volunteers, there are always creative ways to celebrate the people who make your Sunday mornings happen.

This year, we focused on 3 categories:

Meaningful Gifts

Practical Gifts

Just for Pun Gifts

Our team worked to think outside the box and add some intentionality (& maybe some humor) behind these gift choices. We hope these ideas takes some stress out of appreciating your team—celebrating your people should be fun!

Meaningful gifts are extra special and can often be used as a sweet reminder of God’s continued goodness and faithfulness. Celebrate your teams with more than just gift cards. Celebrate them by equipping and encouraging them to know and love God more.

  1. Harvest Bracelet Dear Mushka is one of my favorite companies and their jewelry is beautiful and always connected to Scripture. The Harvest Bracelet was inspired by Galatians 6:9 and the perfect encouragement for your teams.

  2. Gratitude Candle Not only is this candle beautiful but this company, Thistle Farms, has lit a pathway of healing and hope for women survivors of trafficking, addiction, and prostitution.

  3. Prayers For Your Day by Daily Grace Co. Gift your teams the gift that keeps giving way past the Christmas season. Encourage your volunteers to get into God’s Word and spend time in prayer.

  4. Faithful Tee Get your teams matching shirts to remind them that from generation to generation, God is faithful [Psalm 100]
*Use code GIFTGUIDE25 for 25% off!

  5. Journal You can’t go wrong with a new journal. Customize these journals by picking colors that match your ministry logo or write something encouraging on the inside cover.

It’s time to get practical! Sometimes it is helpful to give your team something that they need or something that they didn’t know they needed until you show up!

  1. Bookmarks These are so cute and created by my friend Amy from the Bible Study Schoolhouse. They are encouraging and beautiful—win, win!

  2. Highlighters Now these are just any highlighters! These are perfect for highlighting your favorite bible verses without ripping or bleeding through the pages of your Bible. Plus, everyone loves new fancy pens!

  3. Reusable Bags Have your states moved to using reusable bags yet? Well, ours has and these would make the perfect gift! Iron on a cute logo and fill it with their favorite snacks, drinks, and items just for fun! **You can make this a FAMILY gift and celebrate the entire family.

  4. Tumblers These are definitely the new version of gifting coffee mugs, but I couldn’t resist. They are cute and practical and can be easily customizable. Add some of the Kids Ministry Circle stickers, attach a Liquid IV and you’ve got one great gift!

  5. Fleece Blanket This gift is extra practical, but I know most people would love an extra cozy blanket for their home or to store in the car for all those sports games they need to stay warm at!

Let the fun continue with some “punny” jokes. These gifts are still meaningful and practical, but they have a side of humor that makes everything a little more fun.

  1. “So glad you stuck with it this year. We couldn’t have done it without you!” Grab the Kids Ministry Circle Sticker 3-pack and attach them to a gift card for a local favorite to make the perfect gift!

  2. “Here’s the scoop, we love having you on our team” Everyone needs a new ice cream scooper! This would be the cutest thing to hand out with a free scoop coupon or a gift card for a local ice cream shop!

  3. “Volunteers like you deserve brownie points for all that you do” Are you a more DIY type of person or maybe you LOVE to bake sweet treats? This is the perfect pun for you. Bake some brownies and deliver them to your classrooms on Sunday mornings or during mid-week. These will definitely make your volunteers smile. There is nothing better than a homemade treat!
